"Intimacy is difficult to define as a concept. It's a subject full of nuances that can't escape the personal view, closely linked to empirical knowledge, to the encounter with the other and what evolves from it. To see the other as a real mirror in which it is possible to see our reverse; to distinguish the shadow that takes place in the embrace, it contains the essence of the intimacy we are able to endure. Loneliness is imposible, the different levels of absence have something to do with the thought of getting involved with others and the ability to receive for our own welfare."
